Brief description of course:
1-day course that covers the SimZones methodology from Chris Roussin and Peter Weinstock (Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard). Zone 0-2 simulation is covered in the morning segment of the course; including practical application and practice of these skills as new faculty members for this style of simulation. Well-supported start points for the new simulation debriefer wanting a formalised system to work within an established or new simulation programme. Technical skills around setup and running of a manikin as well as moulage application will be covered by team experts in the afternoon segment.

Anyone with an interest in Simulation, who wants to begin on a formalised simulation-based education journey. Ideal for the beginner or those wanting certified training in a debrief model.

At least 4 times a year, sometimes more often. Starship Child Health, Auckland.
