NZASH actively supports the development of simulation education in countries where access to healthcare education and simulation training is limited.
Many of our members are linked with educational programs in developing countries and there are a number of on-going projects where simulation is being used to aid development of healthcare education in resource-poor countries. Our NZASH 2016 conference had the theme “Reaching Out”, emphasising the need and potential for simulation in healthcare to benefit users outside the developed centres and simulation units.
If you would like to support simulation in healthcare within the Pacific Islands or developing countries please contact NZASH exec.
Our constitution allows for one overseas delegate to be sponsored by NZASH to attend the NZASH conference. If you are from the Pacific Islands and are interested in being considered for conference sponsorship please or interested in how NZASH can support your program please contact NZASH exec.
