Important Announcement from the NZASH Executive
October 16 - October 17
It is with regret that the New Zealand Association for Simulation in Healthcare (NZASH) has made the decision to postpone the 2020 conference due to take place on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2020 in Hamilton, due to the rapid developing situation with COVID-19.
The decision has not been made lightly, given the incredible amount of work that has gone into the organisation of what was shaping up to be an outstanding conference.
Our delegates and industry supporters are all working in environments with vulnerable people and supply chains, and as the situation develops our member health professionals and promoters, who are the key to care in hospital and community settings, will need to be available where they’re needed most. At a time of such uncertainty the NZASH executive believes that postponing the conference is the only reasonable decision to make.
The committee will be exploring several options for an event next year. Your thoughts on what that event might look like are extremely welcome. We may come out of this with an even better conference than we had originally envisaged.
Thank you for your understanding.
John Dean, Chair, NZASH
